This will involve regenerating a 5.6-acre site which was the location of a former chalk quarry.
Plans include creating 1,014 new homes with over 8,500 sq ft of commercial space. Amenities for residents will include a gym, lounge, media room, children’s corner, pet spa and meeting and co-working spaces.
Enabling works are underway with the first phase — comprising 159 new homes — expected to launch later this year.

“This development, which will see us transform a former chalk quarry, is exactly the sort of large-scale project that demonstrates what Berkeley does best,” said Marcus Blake, managing director at Berkeley.
“By combining design-led homes with premium amenities, excellent connectivity and extensive new green spaces, the development will reconnect the site to Sutton town centre and bring high-quality homes and long-lasting community benefits where they are needed most.”
